June 30, 2008 - The new Miss Bahamas World was crowned last evening at the Wyndham Nassau Resort's Rainforest Theatre.

She is 21 year old Tinnyse Johnson who had entered the pageant as Miss Fox Phone Card Center.

Tinnyse won over 14 contestants who were collectively billed as The Fierce Fifteen.

She will compete in the Miss World 2008 pageant in Ukraine on October 4th.
