August 16, 2008 - Newly crowned Puteri Indonesia 2008 is 19 year old Zivanna Letisha Siregar and will represent Indonesia next year in Miss Universe 2009.

The pageant was held at the Plenary Hall of the Jakarta Convention Center.

1st runner-up was Ayu Diandra Sari and 2nd runner-up was Anggi Mahesti.

The reigning Miss Universe 2008, Dayana Mendoza of Venezuela was present during the pageant.
