August 31, 2008 - Newly crowned Miss Earth Cuba 2008 is Geisy Hernandez. Geisy was selected among 20 models by a national casting held in Florida. She will represent Cuba at Miss Earth 2008 to be held in Manila November 9, 2008.

She was born August 20, 1990 in Camagüey, Cuba. This 18 year old beauty is a professional model & student. Geisy has model in Milan, Rome and now is a student of Tourism at Las Vegas Community College in Nevada. Her goal is to one day become a Tourism Ambassador for her country.

She will be trained by Andres Gonzalez, photographer & Pageant Coach, Noemi Melendez; National Director for MCO.

Her wardrobe will be provided by designers Francisco Gomez, Don Q, Dalia, Edwin Rosario, Casa Hermosa, among others.
