September 20, 2008 - It was announced that Miriam Odemba will be the representative of Tanzania to the Miss Earth 2008 pageant that will be held in Bali, Guam and Philippines.

Miriam is 25 years old and an international model. She has worked in South Africa and China as a model.

She has also won many modeling competitions and beauty pageants in Tanzania and abroad.

Her biggest achievement was winning Elite Model Look.
